Charm Chauffeurs has been in the transportation business since 1994, starting with a shuttle service for fly-fishing groups and rafters, Charm Shuttles, and expanding in 2008 with Charm Chauffeurs, Aspen’s private luxury car service.

The Charm Behind Charm

Chauffeurs Charm Chauffeurs takes its name—and personal commitment to every customer— from owner Charmaine Jones, who was a chef in Los Angeles before moving to Aspen Snowmass. Charm owned a catering company in L.A. for ten years, specializing in celebrity parties hosted by movie producers and others in the film industry. That work required attention to quality presentation and service, as well as discretion and respect for privacy, values Charm Chauffeurs continues to emphasize today.

Charm’s roots in transportation go back even further, to her youth. Her mother owned a real estate and mortgage company, and as a teenager, Charm worked as her messenger. She was a human fax machine before such things existed, running documents all over L. A. for signature. She enjoyed the sense of freedom she experienced being in constant motion; it’s one of the reasons that even as the business has grown, she still chooses to put on a uniform and get behind the wheel for Charm Chauffeurs.
